philly cheesesteak empanada

What's an empanada?

em·pa·na·da

[em-puh–nah-duh; Spanish em-pah-nah–thah]

An empanada is a stuffed bread or pastry baked or fried in many countries in Southern Europe, Latin America, and parts of Southeast Asia.

The name comes from the Spanish verb empanar, meaning "to wrap or coat in bread."

At The Empanada Maker, we take empanadas to the next level.  Not only do we offer our South American-inspired originals, but we have a wonderful selection of "specialty" empanadas, which pay tribute to different popular flavors from around the globe.

#7-Philly Cheesesteak

The taste of a Philly cheesesteak sandwich in a perfectly baked empanada. Never thought I would love the taste of my favorite sandwich served this way, but it is a winner!

#2D - Cinnamon Apple

I would murder a number of small children for you to open again so i could have one more of these. I see them in my dreams.

#5-Spinach

Perfection. This spinach empanada is surreal. Golden brown, tender, flaky and homemade fresh crust stuffed with the ideal blend of fresh spinach and tangy, melty, saucey cheese that is exactly the same every time I get it. If I could only have one thing to eat on the planet, it's this heavenly spinach empanada from The Empanada Maker. The cinnamon rice pudding is also beyond dreamy! This is my favorite restaurant ever! I've told them in person when I buy multiple dozens and dessert. Thank you Empanada Maker for your fresh ingredients and reliable consistency.
